In essence, a robotic vehicle with legs, the Hyundai Elevate is a walking car. It has a platform that is modular and has robotic legs with wheels on the end of them. Depending on the terrain it encounters, the vehicle may change its shape and raise or lower itself using these retractable legs. In difficult situations like rocky terrains, disaster-stricken locations, or urban environs with lots of obstacles, the Elevate can now walk, climb, or crawl over them, making it incredibly flexible.
The Elevate is intended to be used in a variety of situations, including search and rescue operations, where conventional vehicles might not be able to travel because of debris or rough terrain. It might also be utilized in mobility solutions.
